Small Business Rebate Application - Terms & Conditions
- Funding is limited and submitting a rebate application does not guarantee you will receive a rebate. Rebates are for eligible water heating appliances installed on or after June 13, 2025, and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis when funding is available.
- Funding may be made available in additional phases.
- The start and close of rebate offer period for each phase will be announced by South Coast AQMD notice(s).
- Applications submitted after the end of a phase but prior to the start of a potential future phase will be denied.
- Applications received prior to the close of rebate offer period, but had no rebate issued due to a limitation of funding will be notified by SCAQMD if/when additional funding is available so that you may reapply.
- Rebate amounts and general funding budget amounts are subject to change without notice.
- A rebate issued from this program, in combination with other incentives available, shall not exceed the total project cost. The South Coast AQMD and/or Willdan reserves the right to adjust the GO ZERO rebate for this purpose.
- All rebated appliances are subject to a virtual or on-site inspection at the discretion of South Coast AQMD and/or Willdan. If the installation cannot be verified, the application will be denied.
- South Coast AQMD is not responsible for any taxes, fees, or tariffs that may be imposed as a result of the purchase/installation of appliances.
- Neither Willdan nor South Coast AQMD make any representations or warranties relating to the appliances referenced in this program, including but not limited to any hazardous substances that may be contained in the appliance, the quality or longevity of the appliance.
- Applicant waives and releases Willdan and South Coast AQMD and any or all contractors or agents from any and all claims and causes of action arising out of the installation and use of appliances pursuant to the GO ZERO Incentive Program.
- The qualified appliance must be installed before submitting the rebate application. Funding is available on a first-come, first serve basis and it is encouraged that Applicants apply as soon as possible.
- Willdan offers payment in the form of a mailed check or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Checks will expire 90 days from the date issued, after which a stop payment may be issued. Funding from South Coast AQMD may not be available after the 90-day period, and Willdan may not be able to re-issue payment.
- Rebate payments may be subject to state/federal income tax and are the responsibility of the Rebate applicant.
- Rebate applications must be complete per the instructions above and are subject to verification and review for accuracy, including any additionally required documentation and/or inspections.

If installation cannot be verified, the applicant must reimburse the GO ZERO Incentive Program for rebates received and any associated processing costs, upon the request of South Coast AQMD.
